For the best quality, we recommend finishing your coffee within three months once you open it. The aroma and flavour of the beans will deteriorate if you use them any longer than necessary.
How many coffees will one 200g bag make?
If using an espresso machine, you can make approximately 10-18 coffees from a 200g bag. If you are making coffee via a brew method, then the coffee quantity will depend on what type of brew method you are using and the size of your grind.
What is the best way to store my coffee?
We strongly advise you to store the coffee in an airtight container in a cool, dry location. This will ensure that your coffee has a longer shelf life.

What is the shelf life of unopened Toby’s beans?
Toby’s beans have a recommended shelf life of 1 year when unopened.
Flavour slowly changes over time, becoming more mellow and less vibrant, and is typically flat between 9–12 months unopened.
How does oxygen affect coffee freshness?
The less your coffee is exposed to oxygen, the longer it stays fresh; whole beans last longer than ground coffee for this reason.
Once the bag is opened, oxygen speeds up flavour loss, so keeping beans sealed as much as possible helps preserve quality.
How old is the coffee used in cafés?
Most Australian cafés prefer to use beans that are 1–4 weeks from roast for peak flavour.
Toby’s internal testing shows beans kept sealed can still perform well in cafés up to 6 months, though from 3–6 months they show more intensity and less vibrancy and require more barista skill to dial in.
Do you ship internationally?
Currently, we only ship within Singapore. However, we will be exploring international shipping options soon via our Australian site

We aim to process and dispatch orders within the stated day and time, however in some cases dispatch may occur later from order, depending when we receive our coffee shipment.
